This annual lunch at Historic Melrose Station, Killarney, celebrates the wonderful local food and wine from the Southern Downs. as well as showcasing the beautiful countryside of Killarney.
Each year they have three guest chefs join their team to come up with a fresh, exciting new menu. The hero of the day is always the famous Killarney Beef as well as freshly dug potatoes from Mal Smiths farm on Spring Creek Mountain.
Their guest chefs this year, Richard Ousby from Stokehouse in Brisbane and Caroline Jones from 3 Girls Skipping in Graceville and Jocelyn Hancock from Cake & Bake West End, will join Bev Ruskey from Spring Creek Mountain Cafe and Cottages, Killarney.
S.D.H.L. is a not for profit organisation, and all proceeds from the day go to local charities and community groups.
