Now in its ninth year, the Murgon Music Muster is an annual event held over six days during the first week in November at the Murgon Showgrounds in the small rural town of Murgon in South-East Queensland and proudly run by the Rotary Club of Murgon.
The 2019 Muster will include a wide variety of country music including Australia’s premier country music artists, Tania Kernaghan, Anne Kirkpatrick, Tracy Coster, Amber Lawrence and Chris Callaghan. Along with other award winning artists Brendan Smoother, Bridget O'Shannessy, Clarrie Weller, Steve Sparrow, Chris Pritchard, Jack Viljoen, Homegrown and Brendan Radford. Backed by one of Australia's best country music bands led by Brendan Radford, musical director for the Golden Guitar Awards.
The Muster has something for everyone including walk-up artists, bush poets, professional artists, aboriginal dancers, a bus trip to local attractions, an old time dance and daily raffles. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is catered for as well as a bar operating daily. All entertainment is held indoors.
Powered and unpowered camping sites are available as well as hot showers, including a disabled shower and toilet and a caravan dump point on the grounds. EFTPOS will also be available at the gate for your convenience.
