The vans are coming back to Stanthorpe this Easter long weekend! Come see the Vans and Panel vans visiting and competing to be best van in Australia. See the colors, the murals the modifications,hear the rumble of the polished to perfection V8s and sixes. Marvel at the mirror tile's the shag and themed interiors. Based at the showgrounds in Australia's Granite Belt and Apple and Grape capital Stanthorpe, over 4 days of Easter there will be Vanning, Cruising, Show & Shines, Street Parade's, trade stalls, kids entertainment, fun games competitions, van art and photography displays and much more whilst celebrating 45 years since Stanthorpe hosted the very first Qld Van In. Take a trip back to 1979 when vans where cool and built to astound everyone with their way out looks and styles, to when cars were as individual as their owners. 45 years on and they are even more amazing. Join them for a look, or for the whole event! Come see the street cruise on Friday evening from the Stanthorpe Showgrounds to the city center and return, Don't forget to dress up like it was 1979 or get up close at the exciting show and shine at the showgrounds on Sunday with something to do for all ages. Open to the public from 9am to 2pm. Entry is via $2 gold coin donation.
