The iconic Chinchilla Melon Festival is back in 2023! Come and celebrate all things melon and a tribute to the town’s melon farming reputation.

This popular event, held in February every second year, encompasses a week of fun, quirky, and melon-tastic activities. Join the fun, with the highlight being the Family Fun Day and colourful street parade. If you’re feeling really adventurous, why not ski on a watermelon or attempt a melon bungee? This event should definitely be on the top of you to-do list.
