Easter Family Camping Weekend | 29 March – 1 April | The Jondaryan Woolshed
Enjoy a peaceful Easter weekend for an authentic country experience. Learn about Australia’s history, get involved in some family friendly games, hop on a mini train ride, and more. And of course, participate in an easter egg hunt. Gates open 9:30am. Day visitors welcome as well. Adult $10. Children $5. Family $25.
Sunflower Fields Open Weekend | 29 March – 1 April | Warraba Sunflowers, Cambooya
Don’t miss this special opportunity to spend some quality time surrounded by bright sunflowers. Pick as many sunflowers as you can carry! Bring your family and friends, pack a picnic, takes some pics, and more. Open from 8:00am – 6:00pm each day. Adult $10. Children 5 – 17 yrs $5.
Super Easter Saturday | Saturday 30 March | DownsSteam Tourist Railway & Museum
Explore the rich history of the trains that made the Darling Downs! Join one of the guided tours, sing along to the live music, and more. Grab a classic snag from the BBQ, hop on a heritage bus ride... there’s something for everyone. 9:00am – 3:00pm. $5 donation entry.
Easter Egg Hunt In the Lavender | Saturday 30 March | Windy Acres Farm
Where else would you rather be than surrounded by a sea of beautiful purple lavenders? This is a great event for the kids, with a huge easter egg and painted rock hunt planned for the day. Food and drinks available. Make sure to stop by the shop as well! Starts 9:30am.
Mini Train Rides & Vintage Bus Tours | Sunday 31 March | Highfields Pioneer Village
All aboard for some mini train adventures! Grab the kids and head up to Highfields. Explore the rich history and culture of the region, have some fun riding around the village museum, and more.
Live Horse Racing | Thursday 28 March | Clifford Park Racecourse
Warm up with some action-packed live racing! The iconic Clifford Park is the place to be, gather your mates and find your winter woollies, relax by the track and enjoy the action. Enjoy a meal and drink (or two) whilst taking in the breathtaking views. Gates open from 10:00am, live racing from 4:30pm.
