1. Burrow, Toowoomba

The clue is in the name of this caffeine-corner - Burrow is a cosy, dog-friendly nook in the heart of Toowoomba’s CBD.
Serving all day breakfast, Allpress Espresso coffee and free doggy cuddles – Burrow even have space for doggos to stretch out and play with other pups in their grassed backyard.
After brunch, take a stroll around Toowoomba’s Street Art in the CBD or head over to Queens Park and let your little mate work off their puppychino in the off-leash area.
2. Chocolate Cottage, Highfields
Chocolate might not be good for dogs, but that doesn’t mean they can’t enjoy Chocolate Cottage café in Highfields, a short 15km drive north from Toowoomba.
Serving up wholesome food, coffee, cakes and handmade chocolates – you can relax on the grassy grounds, sit under wisteria arbours and overlook the escarpment, all with your little mate by your side.
3. Bluebird Kitchen, Warwick
Despite the name, you won’t need to worry about your pooch chasing the birds here.
The team at Bluebird Kitchen in Warwick, welcome all canines - big and small - to their outdoor dining area.
Chow down on locally sourced meat and farm-fresh produce while your pup laps up the sunshine - just be careful they don’t nab some of Bluebird’s signature American-style smoked barbeque, right off your plate.
4. Jamworks, Glen Aplin

For the preserve-lovers out there, make sure you stop in at Jamworks Gourmet Foods just 10 minutes south of Stanthorpe, where there’s bark-loads (160 to be precise) of jams and chutneys to choose from.
Jamworks take pet-friendly to the next level – with a dedicated doggy zone with dog beds, water bowls and outdoor seating for you to spend time together over morning tea.
It’s even gated so you can explore the store while your little friend remains safe and sound in the yard.
5. The Larder, Goondiwindi
You’ll find the mecca of good coffee and food at The Larder in Goondiwindi’s city centre.
If you’re after something sweet, check out their range of artisan chocolate, homemade melting moments or gourmet Bramble and Hedge Nougat.
Four-legged friends are welcome here, with hitching posts for your pup to dine by your side as you sip Merlo coffee and dine on fresh, ready-made Larder lunches.
7. Neens, Goondiwindi
If your doggy loves basking in the sun, make paw tracks to Neens café and enjoy friendly service at this local favourite.
Order off the menu or try a slice of their freshly made cakes while you take in Goondiwindi’s heritage buildings from the sidewalk.
Both the Goondiwindi Town Park and Macintyre Riverwalk are only a short distance away for post-brunch walkies.
8. Whipbird Cafe, Coolabunia
Roll down the windows for four-legged fur ball and hit the road to South Burnett, because we’ve found a pet-friendly hotspot just outside Kingaroy.
The Whipbird Café is home to delicious meals, homemade cakes and the funkiest freak-shakes - a monstrous mash-up of milkshake and dessert.
There’s a special pet-friendly courtyard right outside the restored Church building for you to dine all-day with your little buddy.
