Gleneden Family Farm

Glenden Family Farm is run by 4th generation farmers Rohan & Fiona, who have created a idyllic and charming farm reminiscent of a by-gone era. Managed as an organic farm, they have free range old breed pigs, chickens, geese, sheep and cows wandering around as well as an orchard and vegetable garden to explore. Nestled in the picturesque Main Ranges near Cunningham's Gap, just 90 minutes southwest of Brisbane, day visitors can buy delicious organic produce, visit the farmyard and garden or camp near the beautiful mountain creek. Bus Tours, groups and schools are also welcome to book a farm tour or a heritage experience and see the Gleneden Bullock Team and other rare trades such as blacksmithing and bush timber-work in action. The farmshop stocks Gleneden Family Farm's pastured pork, 100% pastured organic lamb & beef, as well as Fiona's handmade farmhouse soaps, jams and preserves. A great experience for bus tours and school groups is a hayride around the farm where you can meet the animals in the paddocks and learn how the farm is run. For a 'rare' treat you can see one of Queensland's last bullockies in action . Bullocky Ro entertains the crowd with his yarns and teaches you how to be a real bullock driver. Bookings are essential. Please call ahead to visit the farmshop.
