Astro Photography Workshop

Learn the essentials of astro photography under the expert guidance of Jason Ng. From camera settings to practical tips, this workshop is tailored for both beginners and enthusiasts looking to enhance thier skills. Jason Ng has a background spanning over a decade in photography, he specialises in capturing the beauty of the night sky, bringing the cosmos into focus. This workshop is being held at Diamondvale Estate where 30 acres of bushland, Quart Pot Creek and the brilliant unpolluted night sky are yours to capture. Bring with you - warm clothing, headlamp, DSLR camera with lens that an drop to f2.8 ISO 3200-6400 manual focus & tripod. You can expect expert tuition for photographers of all levels, small group of just 6 participants, theory & technique discussion, in field guidance around Diamondvale Estate, welcome drink and grazing platter on arrival, sunset photography for a warm up, theory, camera & tripod setup and astro shooting from 7pm.
