Mulgowie

Mulgowie Public Hall

Mulgowie Public Hall is nestled in the Laidley Valley. This is home to vegetable and salad farms and is famous for it's fresh corn and beans. The Hall has views up the valley to Mount Castle. The Hall grounds are open to camping with powered and unpowered sites, toilet and shower. It's especially suited to caravans and caravanning groups. There's a children's playground to amuse the younger campers. It's only two minutes walk to the Mulgowie Hotel, fondly known as The Mulga. The Mulgowie Cricket Club and oval are situated off the hall. The Hall is available for hire, perfect for a group get together, events, weddings, birthdays and special occasions. It's air conditioned with a full commercial kitchen. Wine and water glasses, dinner plates, cutlery can be hired. Mulgowie Farmer's Markets are held the first Saturday of every month, with live music, local produce, fresh breads and cakes, cheeses and olives, sweet treats, handmade gifts and jewellery, local artists, plants and natives, books, tea and coffee, breakfast food options and more. This jam packed market embodies a vibrant community spirit and welcomes visitors near and far. Usually 50 plus stallholders are booked to attend. Free parking on-site. Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. Mulgowie is just a one hour drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba central business districts.
