Fire in the Grove

At Cedar Gully Olives all of the olive tree is used. The olives are marinated in our signature marinades. The olive wood is turned into charcoal using an environmentally friendly process. The olive wood charcoal is made for cooking, air purifiers, art drawing sticks plus biochar for the garden. Come to Cedar Gully Olives to relax, picnic or snack under the olive trees with the family. It's Fire in the Grove so warm yourself near a brazier lit by olive wood. Listen to live music by Steve Milligan. Watch whip cracking demonstrations by Gabby Wooler. Have fun with lawn games under the olive trees. Enjoy free face painting. Taste the olives and learn how the olive wood charcoal is made. Fire in the Grove is on the Sunday before Father's Day. You can do an art charcoal drawing for Dad with a local artist, Sarah Hazelhurst. Another Father's Day gift idea is to take a family photograph at one of the scenic spots around the farm. These include in the olive groves, under the 400+ year old blue gums, on the Massey Ferguson 135 tractor or at the old timber corral. There’ll be food, including a BBQ, a coffee van plus Father's Day gift stalls. A fun day for all.
